For over ten years, Modhi Norway has used Adra solutions. The company is one of the country’s leading players in payment follow-up and debt collection. Modhi Norge, which is part of the Sparebank 1 group, has around 200 employees. The organization provides services that handle the entire value chain, from invoice distribution and ledgering to the purchase of claims. As Modhi Norway handles a lot of client funds, it is extremely important for the head of accounting and reporting, Petronelle Beichmann, to have ongoing control of everything that has to do with banking.
Streamlined task management and month-end close
Adra Task Manager has helped Modhi Norway with task management, as they have many repetitive tasks that are important to keep track of. The company uses the system in connection with key tasks related to the month-end. Here they enter process descriptions of how tasks should be performed so that anyone in the finance department can, in principle, carry out the task if illness or other obstacles arise. This results in a good overview of the tasks to be completed so that each employee knows which tasks to do and at what time.
Modhi Norge also uses Adra Balancer, which allows them to document the month-end close because all reconciliations have associated documentation and can be traced back and forth. They always have an overview of which accounts are open and which are not. Modhi Norge currently has efficient work processes where all documentation for different purposes is gathered in one place.
Reduction in revision time
Modhi Norge has simplified external auditing by allowing Adra Balancer to grant external access to the system. When the company has been supervised by the Financial Supervisory Authority or an auditor, they have direct access to what they need and to extract the information they need. Modhi Norge’s auditing company, KPMG, has its own access so that when conducting audits, employees can go into Balancer and access the numbers they need. We don’t have to spend time on it, and they get everything they need,” says Beichmann.
The finance department at Modhi Norge is pleased with the Adra solutions because it gives them support in everyday life. They are in the process of implementing the solution in several parts of the Modhi Group.
